Spoke with my mother who said one of my brothers was about to embark on a great adventure to St. Petersburg, Russia. My brain went there instantly, in a whirlwind of memories from my sophomore year in college.
Despite it being the COLDEST winter on record during our visit, St. Petersburg easily became the most beautiful city I had ever seen, and still is for that matter. The architecture was truly magnificent and one-of-a-kind. Did you know? It is city built on rivers/canals, much like Venice??
