Spring Observations

*I am still stunned to see 12 rotations on the weather radar at one time. It is anyone's guess which one, if any, will touch down and destroy a home or town. I find it difficult to go to sleep when there are looming rotations. Clay though, with his great coping skills, falls easily into a peaceful sleep.

*The weather has been perfect for my flowers. Lots of blooms and happy plants right now make me feel happy.

*I had a realization while subbing in the library that I can see pain in a child's eyes. Not only can I see it, it JUMPS out at me. This is at times a gift, and at other times it is a wicked curse. But all in all, it makes life very interesting.

*Our children are doing wonderfully. With just 6 weeks of school left, they have accomplished a lot. Elliot just received an award for having character. It meant more to me than the math or science or other awards. Max has been reading and re-reading "Radical", which is about the state of today's church and how we can improve. Solomon is growing and growing. At 12, he looks like a young man and does not know his own strength. He is constantly shopping for farms for us to purchase. Annabelle...well, she is one-of-a-kind. She has had a wonderful year academically, and hearing her read makes my heart soar.

Happy Easter to my dearest blog-reading friends!! We are so blessed and I could not be more thankful for this life, and the eternal life that we are promised. Love you all!
