My friend in Michigan sent word that Gallup had done a poll on happiest and unhappiest places to live. I have always liked polls, and feel that when done well, they are extremely accurate. Here is what I found on-line from the recent article:

179. Utica-Rome, NY
180. Prescott, AZ
181. Lake Havasu City-Kingman, AZ

183. Hickory-Lenoir- Morganton, NC
184. Fort Smith, AR-OK
185. Redding, CA
186.Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX
187. Youngstown-Warren- Boardman, OH-PA
188. Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH"
Since moving here, I have felt this is an unhappy place. That is all I will say about this region. What has been the GREATEST challenge is trying to find a happy niche, to "bloom where I am planted" so to speak.
One observation: the 10 unhappiest cities are in various regions of the US. It seems no region is totally immune from unhappiness.
I like challenges and will keep on truckin'. Hope you are in a happy place!!

Te-he-he..........Utica, NY not far from my hometown...I wonder what it is all based on, the poll? The sad part is, I think with the stresses of everyday life, people don't find or fit in time for happiness.....It is shoved aside. "SAD" but true....I remember when there was no stress in my life and seriously, all I did was laugh...Oh, how I miss when my face hurt from laughing so hard....I think I need to find time for my face to hurt again...how bout you?
