**School starts in less than a month. Not ready. Have really enjoyed a lazy summer with the children.
**Next week, we will have TWO in braces. Yesterday, the orthodontist said, "Man, your kids are growing up fast." Made a lump come into my throat. I know it is true and I can't stop it.
**Max has a lingering migraine after too much working out. Hate to see him suffer.
**This darn town has nothing going on but youth sports. I HATE that. All they speak of is this team, that team, who travels to play, who wins. I COULD NOT CARE LESS. I want my children to enjoy sports and build friendships through teamwork. SPORTS ARE NOT OUR IDENTITY.
**We will finish the delicious sweet corn today. :)
**Annabelle is thrilled with her new iCarly backpack. It is cute.
**Am meeting a friend for lunch to discuss Chinese adoption. She gets her new baby boy in September. Mostly want to speak to her about bonding. Can be a long process, but so worth it.
**Saw that some friends from Indiana are adopting from Ethiopia! Awesome.
**Glad our quiver is full.
**Had 8 commitments for the children yesterday (sports, ortho, piano). Today, only 1 commitment. Yipppeeee!!
