"Falltime and winter apples take on the smolder of the five-o-clock November sunset: falltime, leaves, bonfires, stubble, the old things go, and the earth is grizzled. The land and the people hold memories, even among the anthills and the angleworms, among the toads and woodroaches 'among gravestone writings rubbed out by the rain' they keep old things that never grow old."
- Carl Sandburg
It has been a mild and glorious Fall here, and more wet than usual. I think the moisture has contributed to the trees being ablaze with color. Some Falls bring brown trees..but not this one!
On sunny days, the windows are flung open. We have even had breezes. It feels so good.
Daily, people drive up into our private drive to see what property is for sale. I am praying for the buyers. They are out there somewhere!
Hope Fall has been glorious where you are!

Fall is rapidly winding down in the NE : ( I will be at my parents for Thanksgiving. Keeping my fingers crossed that there is still some fabulous 'Fallness' left when I arrive : )
