Ten! Ten Weeks! Ten Weeks Until We Move! I am getting so excited.
Clay reports exploring our new town, and seeing coffee shops, lots of restaurants with outdoor dining, nice friendly Midwesterners, etc. He is sending us a bunch of pamphlets of local sites to see. That will help the children understand the area better. :)
I think we have picked out a school system for them. Clay is working on finding a rental home.
The average home around here is taking 9-12 months to sell. That would be ok, but I am still praying for that one family to fall in love with this property and make it their own. It is such a peaceful, private acreage. It officially goes on the market Tuesday.
I have this three day weekend to get it ready for photos. Not much to do, just washing windows and putting away laundry, adding some pumpkins and mums.
My plan is to work at the school up until Thanksgiving break. Then I can prepare for the move and the holidays, with my last check arriving on December 20. Thank you, Lord, family, and friends, for helping me during this transition. Couldn't do it without some support.
How is your world? A little more settled than mine, perhaps? I hope you will visit us in Indiana. :) Much love. Happy Sunday!

We are counting the days and praying for a serious buyer for your lovely home. Ten weeks will go quickly just ask our Lord to help you through the busy times and that the children stay healthy as well as yourself. Let me know if things get tough and I'll fly down for a few days. Much love, mother! PS - Clay has the pamplets in an envelope to mail so you can see the beautiful area you are moving to.
10 weeks is no time at all! Less than one trimester. A little more than a school semester here. Shorter than one Summer! All of which you've done before, stunningly I might add. Sending you much love and support - Paulina
Kate, sending you some extra energy as you begin your crazy moving process. Can't wait for you to all be together in Indy and I'm sure the perfect buyer will come along soon. Moving is EXHAUSTING but exhilerating, isn't it? My kids miss Arkansas though - they talk about it all the time still. Ethan especially misses the turtles - boy, AR does have great turtles. I've never seen so many turtles in my life!
I have been meaning to blog about the turtles. Seriously, it is kid-turtle heaven here! :( sorry he misses them.
Kate, we are having beautiful fall days now....Thinking of you and excited for your future here....Happy that you will be a "stones throw away"...yippie!
Stay organized if that is possible during a move and enjoy your time left! I hope your house sells so much quicker than ours, we are nearing that 9-12 month mark and it truly sucks!!
Arkansas will miss you, I am sure of that!
