Today, a surprise convocation was called in the Performing Arts Center, with all the Junior High (approx. 500 students) invited.
Four teachers and six students were called to the front. They were given "The Butterfly Effect" award. These ten people have shown that their small acts of kindness, of goodness, of serving others...has a larger impact than they can even imagine.
Maxwell was one of those students.
Well, dear Lord, you sure know how to fill me with joy, humility, thankfulness. That sweet child has suffered quietly because of the move. I don't think he has let anyone at school know, but he has just continued being his sweet, servant self.
God bless these ten people, and the author of "The Butterfly Effect" book, and whomever at the school was responsible. It was very encouraging to my gracious, sweet son.

I know Max has had some really rough times lately and I hope this award will erase all those down times for him. He is such a sweetie and I love this picture of him with his sister, I think it says it all in one photo!! The Lord has blessed you these past two weeks!!
