Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the big day. The dog days of summer are now over, and we will be heading back to school.

It was the shortest summer ever due to an extended year in June to make up for snow days. THEN, they added snow days to the calendar, so we go back early to accomadate those.

But I am not complaining. We are ready.

I just ask that you keep me in your prayers. For the first time in almost 15 years, I have a full-time job. That in itself is WONDERFUL! The tricky part is being a great WIFE while I juggle three football players and a soccer dynamo, mostly on my own, and with help from some precious friends.

I did not fill out the application to be a hospice volunteer, which I have longed to do, because um, frankly, I don't have a spare minute. I have not signed up for college classes for the same reason. And Zumba, well, you will have to wait.

But it's all good. When I sit at my desk at school, and a little kindergartener comes in for a tour of the library, my cup runneth over. I know I am where I am supposed to be at this time, and I thank God for His plan.

Happy back-to-school time to many of you! Happy relaxing if that is what you get to do! xoxoxo

WOW Kate, it is a good thing you don't need much sleep! I'm excited for you with the job though and can't wait to hear stories about the kids you meet. You will handle whatever challenges arrive with the new schedule with your calm energy and head held high as always. Love you, dear friend!
