It is sprinkled with vintage finds from various states. Notice the tin "FARM" sign above the sink (hard to see). I LOVE that my fav interior designer, Sarah Richardson, uses these in her decor. This room is always bathed in sunshine.
The previous owner installed these glass-front cabinets. They hold my collections of depression wear: ruby red, Fireking jadeite, and milk glass, especially hobnail. In the past, these were all very inexpensive at yard sales and antique malls. I have been shocked at the costs in the last few years.
Here's the fridge and the pantry door.
Milk glass is at the center of the table. I don't worry if something gets broken. It is just a thing, and I want the kids to feel comfortable living with vintage stuff.
This is the walk-in pantry, with shelves to the left. Lots of space. Love it.
