There is something I have never told you. I love mirrors. Especially antique mirrors with fancy frames. Look at this corner!
And when the top has a torch with flame, I have to catch my breath! Not to mention the lovely etched glass around the edges!! I just noticed the wings on either side of the torch. I am sure they signify something fabulous. I must research.
When I do research and find out it is likely a Regency mirror from the 1820s, I am amazed that it survived so well, all this time. The only "problem" is that the glass looks old, and I count that as a PLUS!
THEN, when my husband says I can have it for Christmas, instead of the lovely new computer he chose for me, I count my blessings. What a great find! What an even greater guy!
