I am sorry some of you have been unable to post comments. I love comments. They make me smile, laugh, cry...they make me miss you. I looked at the blog stuff and I am not sure what else to change. I will continue reading and trying to fix it.
It is a blessed day when one's child quotes scripture to give insight into a situation. I have been very upset with the actions of someone, and my son encouraged me to hold this person accountable, and gave me some verses to use. I could hear the Heavens open and the angels singing when he did this. It was amazing, as a mother. My kids bless me every day.
Rare is the summer week when all four kids are home. Max has three trips; Solomon has been in Indiana for two weeks; Elliot had church camp. Poor little Annabelle is salivating to go to camp. Hopefully next summer! One joy is that there has been very little fighting. Also, I know who the BIGGEST eater is. Noooo, I will not tell you his name.
Annabelle did start a new activity this week. As she was a little scared, I introduced myself to the coach, and just took about 20 seconds of her time, telling her that Annabelle has a fear of women, and I thought it was important for her to know. She laughed. I would like to see a photo of my face at that moment. I tried to remain poised and kind with a pleasant expression. But to tell you the ugly truth, I wanted to punch her nose. Yes, I know, some people laugh when they are uncomfortable. It was just disappointing and inappropriate. You can cut her some slack, I won't. ;)
Annabelle wants to go to Wal-Mart to get her school supplies. School starts in SIX weeks. She is very excited about being a second grader! She has read lots of book through the summer library program. I love her little voice as she reads.
Hope your summer is a happy, busy, productive one!! Wish we could sit and have some sweet tay and converse. :)

kate, i know exactly how you feel . . . when it comes to our children it is sometimes difficult to live Biblical truths and the things we try to model for our children. i had a very trying day on monday with a friend who used to be very dear to me. she disappoints on a regular basis and it is tough! God understands how we feel :) SIX weeks! ohmygoodness, we just got out!
xxo
I adore you and your family : )
Twisted I know, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading that you wanted to punch that lady in the nose. Maybe it makes me feel closer to you LOL!
