When I tuck Annabelle in at night, it has usually been a very long day. I am up by 5, shower, feed the kids, rush out the door, school, after school activities, try to have her in bed by 9...long day.
I usually feel quite sentimental and tired. I wrap my arms around her, and tell her how lucky I am to be her mommy, how proud she makes me because she tries so hard at every thing she does...
And then she says,
"Mommy, I think your mommy misses you very much."
It is just the sweetest thing for her to think of this!
