(Thanks, Kristie!)
I see that she is in St. Louis, a city we drive through on our way to Indiana. I will explore St. Louis someday. Maybe you can meet me there for a weekend?

This mantle scarf is to die for! She found it at a flea market in Brussels.

Here is a better view.
--Here is one I have on a pie safe near my kitchen. My father-in-law's companion, Maxine, fell in love with this. I happily told her the story of finding it in Georgetown, a cool neighborhood in DC, many years ago, when visiting my friend, Susan.
So often enjoying antiques is not about collecting stuff, but the story of the FIND, the relative who gifted it to you, and the friendships along the journey.

oh, beautiful lace 'scarf' you found years ago! I am intrigued by all of her postings on that blog! I especially love how she used the little clocks.
Beautiful!
