Tidbits

** Max will be finished with wearing braces in December, approximately. Solomon just had his put on this week. I can't wait to see the smiles of these boys sans braces! A huge investment but worth every penny, in my estimation.

**Elliot is foregoing soccer this fall to play football for the first time. One coach told him yesterday, "You are a good player, now get aggressive." That made me smile. He is not aggressive by nature. We'll see if he can turn it up a notch. :)If he goes back to soccer, that would be just fine with this mama.

**Annabelle participated in the summer reading program at the local library. They had a party last night to reward the kids, including a very funny magician. A great time was had by all. Sat with my friend Nataliya, who is from Russia. So nice to see her.

**A friend called yesterday with an interesting job prospect. Have been enjoying the thought of employment other than subtitute teaching.

** An adoptive mom did my hair yesterday. I spoke with an adoptive mom from back home. Am having lunch with an adoptive mom today. It is a fun sorority to be in, and seems to be growing. Very nice.
