My two little children attended a soccer camp at the park where their league is based. It was M-F, 5-8pm. They RAN almost the entire time. Amazing.
The coach is the league coordinator, a lovely man named Jesse, from Africa. I think Nigeria, but not sure.
He is a former professional soccer player, a great guy, AND he adores children. Have I told you he can jump like a gazelle? Yes, he can.
Elliot was busy playing, so I did not get his photo. Here is one of Annabelle and Jesse.
At the end of the camp, she was named as one of the outstanding participants! This camp had all age groups in it. I am proud of her accomplishment. As usual, she gave it 110%! (They both did. They both won the 1v1 tournament for their age groups.)
It was a great week. Luckily, we had a light breeze on most evenings. Good job, Annabelle and Elliot. You kids rocked the soccer field!
