There is something sweet that is said on the local news when it gets cold here. By cold, I mean, in the single digits. THAT is VERY cold for Arkansas. It is a very humid cold, so kind of feels like one is jumping into the ocean for a Polar Bear Swim.
When the news people are talking about cold weather, they say, "...and please check on your elderly neighbors".
I have heard them say that every winter I have been here. It warms my heart in the dead of winter.

Single digits seems unheard of in Arkansas. Just keep working in that new office and you'll never notice :)
Wow! I am surprised. We are in the low 20s with wind and baby, it's cold outside ;D
