The New Year

An old high school pal of mine recently said that New Year's was quickly becoming her favorite holiday. As she ages, she appreciates the renewal aspect, the putting away of the old year, and all the opportunities that lie before her. I LIKE THAT!!!

Clay has been off all week, as his planned trip to S. Dakota was thwarted (some of you love that word) by their worst blizzard in 40 years. He was not going to let this stop him, until he read that the interstates were closed. When interstates close in the Great White North, we must listen!!

Once we stopped bickering- I swear because we are not used to spending much time together- we tackled the laundry room. I will show you pictures when it is completed.

Also, he put a lovely, large fish tank on the piano. Yes, that was the only place available away from the hot Arkansas sunshine. He and Sol have planned on putting a carnivorous fish in there. My facebook friends say watching the large fish hunt and eat the small fish will be entertaining. Ok, I will go with it, much to my dismay.
