It is 5 am and I am up because I have a lot to get done today. Home tour tickets are printed and I need to get them out to businesses, along with the flyers. I have waited a several months for this day.....hope ticket sales go well.
Not sure if I told you. The Home tour proceeds will go to buy special cameras for learning in the classroom. I need to learn more about these cameras. At $400. a pop, I hope they do help the children a great deal.
The schools here are excellent. They really push reading. In fact, one day after school, the boys were comparing novels, recommending them to one another. That made me feel happy.
Max made the basketball team. He is excited and has been practicing his shot. He'll be with many close buddies. Should be fun! Sol was named Offensive MVP of the football Conference Championship Game. It was a close game. Solly really used his strength to battle through and score. The next day he said, "Everyone, would you please not touch me? I am sore". Poor guy. Elliot has a 3 v. 3 soccer tournament this weekend. It is very challenging physically, but the weather is cooler than those darn summer tournaments.
What can I say about Annabelle? Long story short. Met another China adoptive family Saturday. Bonded. Had a great conversation. Seemed to upset our girl. "Why did they throw me out in China, Mommy?". It is all a journey and she will be fine. She's just getting older and going through a phase of understanding more and questioning more. Harder questions.
