When you read this, if it is Tuesday, it is my mom's birthday. Something about fall makes me homesick. Something about birthdays makes me homesick. I think we are supposed to be with family on birthdays.

So mom, just know I am thinking about you and wish I could see you and take you to lunch or something. We all love you and think you are a wonderful Grandma. Yes, even Annabelle thinks this. Happy Birthday!

Here is a photo you won't like for me to post...but I love it. Seeing you as a young woman makes me think of Grandma and how much she loved you, how proud of you she was. She frequently talked of how you went to college and that made her happy. She must have been very happy when you were born.
