I spent this week flitting from school to school to school. Annabelle's school is grades K-2, with fifteen kindergarten classes! Her teacher, warm and wonderful, lots of experience. When I got a little teary-eyed telling her about some of our history with our daughter, she placed her hand on my arm and repeated,"I promise I will take care of her. I promise I will take good care of her". She was very compassionate.
Elliot's school is grades 3-4. I believe there are ten classes of each grade. He has the same teachers that Sol had last year. One male, one female. They are the oldest in the building and you should see the success they achieve on their students' standardized test scores. No burn out here. Elliot will enjoy them very much.
Solomon and Max will be at the Middle School, grades 5-7. I am on the PTO board there, which has turned out to be fun and challenging. Lots of conflict between some of the women, which makes me chuckle inside. I intend to be a peacemaker. I've been in conflict before and it only hurts the hearts of good people.
It looks like we are in for a great school year in a great school system. I am feeling very blessed today. How rich to have four healthy, smart children. Saying many prayers today as we prepare for school to start Wednesday for the boys, Thursday for Annabelle. Prayers of thanksgiving, prayers that they make good choices, prayers for the teachers.
Happy Friday to you and yours.

Did I tell you I was asked to be on the preschool board at church? Following in your footsteps... BenMan starts Tues - met his teacher today. Very sweet...it's going to be a good year!
Congratulations! I think you'll love being on the board. FUN and productive, plus you meet great people. At least I did. :)
