Perspective

Dear friends and family,

Not by my own choice, I live away from many people whom I love.

One of the greatest difficulties in moving away is leaving little children who are now becoming young adults.

Some people don't like to tell of their children's accomplishments. They think it may appear as bragging. I appreciate humility in people...it is a wonderful trait.

BUT IF YOUR KID IS EXCELLING at something, I really hope you'll drop an email to me and tell me. How am I to know otherwise? I rejoice in the excellence of our young people. We know the world needs good leaders for tomorrow, as our country (at times) seems to be on the down-hill-slide.

Let me know. It makes my day. Any little tidbit is welcome.
