I think I'll start a new section of my blog entitled, "Has this happened where YOU live?".... in honor of all the unique experiences I have had here. These fresh happenings entertain me, appall me, annoy me, it just depends. Here is an example of one.
My son was at a friend's house for hours, and I thought I'd call and see if I could pick him up. The father of the friend was home on a vacation day, and I did not want my son to overstay his welcome. So I called, and the dad picked up and said,
"Billy's Mule Barn. Which jacka** do you want to speak to?".
I'm sorry. I am still laughing about this. Has this happened where YOU live? And I challenge you to use the words "mule barn" in YOUR blog. Anyone up to it?? LOL

Both. I was speechless..I waited...then I burst out when I was sure it was him snickering on the other end.
Can't say that I have, but pretty funny stuff.I would have burst out loud laughing.......love it!
I took your "mule barn" challenge, Ms. Kate! ; ) Being as I grew up in this part of the country, I have personal experience to utilize in regards to such matters ; )
I still think your post is an instant classic! I laughed my a-s-s off when I first read it!
