I need to awaken the children to get ready for Vacation Bible School. The theme is "Camp Edge", which sounds wonderfully inviting for my outdoors-kind-of-kids. The church asked for donations of any stuffed animal that might be seen around a camp site. Here's a pic of our donation. I mean, really, who needs one of these? (One of my children did not want to donate this, just lend it, so it might be coming home with us at the end of the week).
On a somewhat unrelated note, my eldest son is at my parent's home. This is his second week there. I can't wait until Sunday when he steps off that plane. He has no idea how I have missed him. Like a piece of my heart was gone. How in the world does a mother prepare for them to go off to college? Oh my stars.

2 weeks, omygoodness I wouldn't know what to do with myself if one of the girls was gone that long. I bet he is having a great time, though. Good for you Mama for letting him go :)
