--couldn't find any baseball pictures of her, we'll take some this weekend.
I did something I did not want to do. I bribed my child with the promise of a gift.
Last night, I told her if she tried hard in practice in the 100-plus-degree heat, and if she tried hard in her games this weekend, I would buy her a gift. She really dislikes tball and I hope she has no desire to play next year.
She did well in practice despite all the sweat dripping off her and everyone. She'll have two games on Saturday, and more on Sunday if Saturday goes well.
She IS the only girl on the team. She looks tiny out there. One boy is turning 7 in July..she just turned 5...she's little. She did tackle a boy last night who was bugging her. We have to work on that. Don't want to burn too many bridges by tackling boys...

I'm sure there is never a dull moment at your house. Do you think she learned how to tackle boys by having older brothers ;) Everytime I read your blog I almost feel like you are back in Ladoga.

An amazing mother like yourself knows when to use a little bribery. Bribery can be an effective and efficient parenting tool LOL! Good to know you have it in your arsenal... ; )
