I never thought I'd have a family who was so active in sports. It just never crossed my mind. It brings a lot of joy to see them succeed because of their hard work, and it is a nice diversion from the many stresses of school.
Elliot's soccer team was in a tournament on Saturday. They won every game, and came home with championship medals.
As you know, this is a new type of soccer for Elliot. It is fast-paced and challenging. I should mention it was 94 degrees and very humid.
I love Elliot for many reasons. One great quality is that he is coachable. He listens to adults. That is a lovely stage for a parent to experience, because Lord knows, it does not last forever, LOL.
Congratulations, Elliot! You deserve it.
