One of the boys had to use the word "despair" in a sentence for spelling class. Here is what he wrote:
"If my dog died, I would be despair".
I thought that was precious. He WOULD be despair. He loves his dog very much.
Have a great weekend! We have the final basketball tournament of the year, with baseball and soccer practices beginning. One week of school until our Spring Break trip to explore Texas, then only nine weeks 'til summer!
Next year the kids will be in 7th, 5th, 4th, and kindergarten. I am starting to prepare emotionally for the day I drop them all off and have the day to myself. Coffee, anyone?
