To all my friends who celebrate the Lunar New Year, I would like to say, "Happy Year of the Ox!!". The holiday begins today. Many people throughout Asia will be traveling to be with their families. It is one tradition to give citrus fruit as a gift to one another. Here is a picture of my little Asian beauty, and some GREAT lamps I found recently at an antique mall. I have been watching them for a couple of years. I just could not pay what she was asking. I hoped and hoped I was the only person interested in them, ha ha, like, would YOU want these in your home? I finally asked about them, and she came down 50%. Happy New Year to you and to my new favorite antiques dealer. (and if you have any info on these lamps, please email me. I haven't been able to find anything on them, the dealer estimates they are from the 1930s-40s. I love them...Kritter, what do you think?)

Happy New Year! Great find on the lamps. Love the picture of your youngest. She is such a beauty!
and I am lovin' the new blog background. I am addicted to redecorating my blog... much easier than redecorating my house ; )
Danica- you totally got me addicted!!!
Congrats on the lamps - I know nothing about them! Jerry would love them. Annabelle is getting so big! I can't wait for you to come home (and have time to stop and visit) so the kids can play! Enjoy your "cold" weather! Jennifer
:) I think they suit you perfectly!
They were meant for you..
