Today is my birthday!! Sometimes I am not happy about having another one, but this year I feel ok about getting another year OLDER.
I am reminded of the little white church I attended when I was little. When an adult had a birthday, the congregation, in unison said this sweet poem:
"Many happy returns on the day of thy birth.
May sunshine and gladness be given.
And may you prepare yourself on earth,
For a beautiful birthday in heaven".
The family is taking me to dinner tonight at the Olive Garden (which is a sentimental place since that is where Clay and I met), and Annabelle might give me my favorite perfume. She has agreed to this, I just need to take her shopping. LOL
