I am happy to report the children are awakening on their own now, without me nudging them, turning on their lights, then turning up the music.
I have noticed an interesting use locally of the word "versus". There is a lot of sports talk, and the use goes something like this.
Question:"Who do we verse tonight?".
Answer: "Oh, we are versing the Bulldogs".
It drives me crazy. I have tried to explain to the boys that this is incorrect, but they seem to not care. :)
Annabelle is on her way to reading. The curriculum in her preschool is amazing and she is attentively learning and telling me ALL she is learning. She tells me details about preschool. The boys MIGHT tell me what their snack was.
We are enjoying cool football weather. Max had two games on Saturday. His team played very well. He is playing wide receiver and having lots of fun. I was very upset when he was running full speed ahead and a desperate defender grabbed his face mask. He had a sore neck for days, and I am thankful it was not worse.
Thinking of the people I love today, in many states, people who have been good friends to us along the way. Happy Wednesday!!

I can't believe how OLD your kids are and how YOUNG you look! You have not changed a bit.
With the little lady telling you everything you have just discovered the difference between boys and girls. We have to remind our girls to take a breath or they might pass out talking.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
