Elliot is being tested for the Gifted/Talented program for next year. Now that I made that public, I have probably jinxed him. LOL I had to evaluate him and one of the questions asked was, "Does he show compassion for others? Give an example". I found this entry from his March school journal. He had to finish this sentence: "If I could create my own holiday, it would be.....

Money Day. It's where you get most of your money and give it to sick people. So all the sick people can buy pills and medicine and food. And I care for sick people".
I think this shows compassion. I am touched by his sweet, 7-year-old heart.
