River Love

I walk along the banks of the Allegheny almost every morning. It is always a few degrees cooler there. I see mink swimming across, and bald eagles soar above in the blue sky. I pinch myself. Really? This is my reality? Not sure I could enjoy it more any place else. It is such a mighty but peaceful river. I love the balance of the two. There are benches on the bridge overlooking the water. I sit and think and feel balanced and refreshed. Really?  Thank you, Lord, for the unexpected blessing of THIS river. I am entranced.
