I am fairly certain the teacher did not dictate these sentences to her. I think they came right out of her brain. Her handwriting is great, it is the content that made me go "hmmmm....", and then smile, at the sweet little soul who is my daughter.
"My brother burps at me." (Sad, but true.)
"I said my dad was a dude."
"My mom turns off the heater." ( I think, was this child cold last night???)
"I crush the TV." (Oh my.)
my favorite: "I have junk in my backyard." ( NOOOO WE DON'T!! LOL)
"My dad surfs in the ocean." (Clay probably told her so.)
I am very thankful for the joy she brings me. I don't worry how the teacher envisions our back yard. :)

Those are funny - always fun to see how kids envision their worlds. Can't wait to hear what the kids think of their new school!!
