Heat

It is 113 or 114 degrees, depending on which weatherman is speaking.

The humidity is very high.

Took my candy thermometer to the pool, but the temp starts at 100 degrees on it, and it didn't register that high.

Transformers are blowing in downtown Fort Smith, so they are without energy, due to the heat.

Plants are frying. I always wondered why some homes had NO landscaping around them. Now I know. Keeping plants alive is challenging due to the heat, but also, keeping then well-watered can cost a lot for some people's budget.

What else to say? It's hot.

I am not complaining. Just thankful I don't have to work out in it, and thankful for central air. Wondering what the weather is like in Nicaragua today? Four days til Max comes home. Happy Wednesday, my peeps!
