So Mom called and said she saw me mention "chocolate chip bar", or something like that. She googled the recipe to enter in the Fair contest, which she wins quite frequently.
It might seem like bad luck. She used self rising flour *accidentally*, and had to substitute peanut butter, as she was out of a certain ingredient.
There were eight divisions. She won her division, then was crowned Overall Grand Champion!
That's just like my mother. The kids and I laughed and laughed. I don't think there's any LUCK in her winning. She just knows her stuff!
Good job, Grandma Bonnie. We are so proud!
