My mom has used Ball jars for canning, for holding lots of sweet tea, and for the beautiful wildflower centerpieces at my reception. Needless to say, I love Ball jars. My heart felt so happy when these appeared on my computer screen: solar lids so that Ball jars can be used as luminaries up the sidewalk to your Midwestern home. I LOVE them! I have one of these on top of my kitchen cupboard looking right at me. What a brilliant idea - I can so see your outdoor stairs (at your dream Victorian house one day) lit up with about twenty of these.
