Quilt Show

Annabelle and I attended a local quilt show that was fabulous! One hundred quilts were hung in a newly-renovated historic gymnasium. Vintage quilts were displayed in a historic village nearby, and religious-themed quilts were at the Presbyterian Church, which happens to be on the National Historic Register.

The quilts were amazing. People were friendly. She got a lot of sweet attention from the elderly people there. A reporter asked if she could take our picture, and we waited with anticipation for Wednesday, the only day the paper is published. Here we are on the front page. :) I am really glad they captured us there, because it was truly a spectacular day!
