My daughter, who is 6, makes me laugh every day. She is so funny, in a natural sort of way.
So we were walking into Target tonight, and she says:
"Mom, I am never having babies. It is so yucky to even think of it. Don't try to talk me into it. And now, Mom, I must say the "S-word".
My mind flashes to the playground, and how she must have learned the s-word on the playground, in a talk about childbirth, and my mind is spinning, wondering how I am going to explain all this to a 6-year-old...and then she says..
"Scusting. I won't have children because it is scusting."
Oh, she makes me laugh, sometimes in a nervous, relieved sort of way. :)
