Favorite Art Print

First, I apologize for the poor quality of my photography.

Secondly, this is perhaps my favorite possession. Why am I showing you this today? Well, I just hung a nail and put this up downstairs, committing to leave it out year-round. It used to come out right after Thanksgiving, but I love it so much, that I miss it when it is in the closet.

I bought this for about $45. years ago in Crawfordsville, IN. It is an old sepia toned print in a pretty old oak frame. The dimensions, including frame, are 23x23 inches.

One nice characteristic of this is the hidden cherub. If you look above the donkey's nose, there is a little cherub head with wings (hard to see in real life and in this photo!). This did not appear to my eyes until I had owned this for several years.

If you see one like it, and find out info on it, please do let me know. I have never seen one similar, and would love to know who created this.

Happy Nativity, a few months early!

Have you ever taken it out of the frame to see if there is a signature?? That is what they do on Antiques Roadshow :) Maybe it is a lost treasure and worth millions!! Think of all the groceries and kids' shoes you could buy!!
