Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...it is sunny, hot, and quiet.

I am thinking...about all the activities we have planned for today.

I am thankful for...my healthy children, sweet husband, and freedom from commitments.

From the kitchen...the smell of coffee wafts through the house, decaf of course.

I am wearing...my walking clothes. Hope to get out on the trail soon.

I am creating...more order in the house by getting rid of (gasp!) books.

I am going...to several basketball camps today with the children.

I am reading...Women, Food, and God. Have found it life-changing!

I am hoping...my children are not bored today.

I am hearing...the air conditioner peacefully humming, and the dryer,too, and some kittens scampering near me.

Around the house...the kids are sleeping in after a late night at the awesome rodeo.

One of my favorite things...is the peace I have in my heart, knowing God loves and forgives me.

A few plans for the rest of the week: planting some more herbs, helping a friend plan a swim party, cleaning and organizing.
