She made me cry.

There's an older woman who works at McDonald's. She is a grandma and for this area, VERY friendly. In fact, I should ask her if she has roots in the Midwest. I digress.

I used to take Annabelle there once a week for a playdate. Haven't done that, of course, now that she's in kgarten.

We went through the drive-up today after Annabelle's Christmas party, and the sweet, friendly lady was working the window. As I drove away, I was teary-eyed, in the best of ways, because here is what she said, in a nutshell:

"Your daughter has a special spirit about her that can only be God-given. I have always felt drawn to her. I feel He picked her especially for you. There is some reason He said, "This is the one for this family. She is such a special child, and they deserve her. I am going to bless them with THIS particular child."

I believe in the unseen, the inexplicable. I believe God does speaks to us through people. I believe He wants me to know to be at peace. He blessed me today.

What a sweet story. I know tht this will hold a special place in your heart. I absolutely agree with you that God does speak to us in many different ways, and this is how he chose to speak to you.

Awsome story, God certainly puts people in our paths for very special reasons. She definitely makes up for all the ones who think you are invisible...for sure... : )
