Happenings

Tonight is our annual trip downtown to the MEA dinner. We'll sit with two of Clay's superiors and their wives, whom I enjoy very much. One of my friends from MOMS Club will be there, too! Yay!

I think back to the first MEA dinner we attended three years ago. It was very difficult to leave Annabelle, as she would become very feaful when I was gone. We left the dinner early to be with her. Now, she doesn't bat an eye. She has shown a wonderful transformation!! We are so proud of her strength and courage!

Then Sunday is our PTO fundraiser, the Holiday Home Tour. A group from my MOMS club are coming, plus others from church and the community, of course. The weatherman says it may reach 64 degrees that day, which in itself, will bring people out and about. I am so thankful it won't be rainy!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend as we all prepare for the wonderful celebration of Jesus' birth. I think of that little baby and how He helps me make it through life. Merry Christmas!!

I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day for your home tour and that many people will come out and show their support for all of your hard work.

And yes, what a wonderful gift we have received from a baby born in a manger.
