Autumn

The children are home today, concluding their four day weekend called "Fall Break". It comes at a good time. They just completed their first nine weeks. I think they are a little tired from football and soccer. It is rainy. We are going to relax at home and hopefully, they'll clean their rooms. It all starts again tomorrow. I am so very blessed to be here with them, and to have them in my lives.

On a sad note, my Dad is in the hospital. They are still doing tests, but he seems to have had a bad rxn to a medicine he was taking. As usual, he let it go too long, and now is very weak and dehydrated. It is a frustrating to be so far away and not be able to do anything, but logically I know there's nothing I could do anyway. I am entering the realm of aging parents. I know many of you have gone before me and navigated that world quite well. I will try to do the same. My way to cope is to pray constantly and it seems to help a great deal. I mean it helps ME.

Happy Monday to you wherever you are. If you are reading this, I love you very much!
