Sweet girl and I attended her open house at school to meet her precious teacher. The teacher was sitting in a low chair, and in kindergarten teacher fashion, scooped Annabelle into a deep hug. Annabelle agreed and hugged back, making mama teary-eyed. Hugging strange women has never been something she allowed. Many of you can attest to that. NOT that you are strange, but strangers to her.:)
Here are some pictures. Yes, I made her wear a dress. She shed a few tears, but received so many compliments that I think she might be open to it again. She even admitted it was comfortable. Today is the big day. Please pray for a smooth transition. She is ready and so am I.
Due to poor planning, I am having my teeth cleaned today instead of doing something more glamorous.

what a beauty! I am thrilled that she has clicked with her teacher! That makes everything just that much smoother : )

I did better than I thought I would. I got a little chocked up, youth group at church was a great start for me, it helped a lot. He loves it so much he was like "see ya ma" I am so proud of him. Not a scared bone in him...The best part is when I pick him up from school he comes running out of the building at me with his arms wide open like he hasn't seen me in a month, melts mama's heart every time.
I am proud of him,too. So sweet and beautiful. There is nothing like that feeling of him running to your arms, Amee. How sweet!! And the twins are not far behind, hard to believe.
What a beauty! My first thought when I saw Annabelle in that dress was "she has Kate's sense of style" - then I read why she was wearing it :) Looking at the smile on her face, I think she is going to have a great year.
