While Maxwell is away, I am refreshing the paint on his walls. I came upon this photo in his room. It speaks volumes to me!!!
--The date, June of 2005, we had Annabelle in our family for about one month.
--Maxwell adored her, and she him. He taught her many things, including how to crawl and walk.
--We used to say she was like a little raccoon as she was intrigued by shiny objects. See how she is touching the snap on his jeans?
--She loved watermelon, and would use her little sign language for "more, more, more".
--She is starting to gain weight and look healthy.
--Oh, the natural light that came through those large windows in that old house. Love that and miss that greatly!
--The hydrangeas on the table were Annabelle hydrangea, and we would cut those from the garden and put them in many rooms.
--That milk glass vase reminds me of all the fun Pam and I had junkin' our way around Indiana. We both collected milk glass for CHEAP and had many laughs.
--Clay had taken a job one hour west of Pittsburgh, and brought that jersey home for Max. The Steelers won the Super Bowl that year, and it was fun jumping on their bandwagon with all our new neighbors in Ohio.
--My neighbor O'Nealya and I used to drink coffee at that table and solve the world's problems. Now she has two little ones of her own and probably not much time to sit and drink coffee!!
Enough reminiscing for today. Hope you have happy photos that make your heart sing!!! I KNOW you do. :) Hugs.

How wonderful . . . it's amazing how these images conjure up sooo many thoughts.
oh my, where does the time go, look at them.....just beautiful...fun to look back isn't it....especially how cute and young they were. Bet you cannot wait for Max to get back there....
Wow - this picture brings back so many memories. I can't believe how young Max and Annabelle look. I noticed the milk glass right away and the hydrangea. Thinking about Annabelle being this small makes me think about the garage sale at your house with Sue Brown and how she was feeding Annabelle and winning brownie points.
