Blogging is like a quilting bee..

I once heard that scrapbooking was the new quilting bee. Groups of women were getting together to make scrapbooks, and were sharing, laughing, crying together. I think blogging is like a quilting bee, but we are not in the same room.

For many months I have been following the amazing story of baby Stellan, a baby who was not supposed to survive in utero due to a heart condition. Miraculously, he did survive, but has been battling SVT (rapid heartrate) off and on since birth. He's about eight months old, and looks a lot like my boys when they were babies.

Now he is not doing well. THOUSANDS of mamas around the globe are praying for him. I am saddened to be part of this group. I know the power of prayer, and I know the deep pain when sincere prayers are answered in an unexpected way.

Won't you join me in praying for Stellan and his family? Thank you. Here is his mama's blog: www.mycharmingkids.net
