The heat index is to predicted to reach 109 degrees today. That, people, is hot. I don't mind it really. I am thankful we don't have to be in it all day.
All three boys spent the night elsewhere last night. Annabelle complained when she found out there would be no other children here, but I think she enjoyed all the attention.
We have a road trip planned for the weekend. We'll be heading east to Conway, a three-hour-drive, so Annabelle can participate in the State Tournament for t-ballers who are 5 years old. There is a lot to say about that, but I won't go there.
Congratulations, dear daughter, for making the All-Star team. Even though you don't like t-ball, we are glad you tried hard to do a good job. (I think she is the only girl on the team, as she was during regular season. Did I tell you they let her bat first? So gentlemanly.)
