It is not uncommon for me to be disappointed with something that many people RAVE about...and so it is with The Shack.
It was interesting to think of God as an African-American woman, and the Holy Spirit as a woman in a flowy gown. But the spiritual ideas that I can apply to my life were lacking. I did not find it life-changing at all.
Indeed, I'll go so far as to say I am sad if this is the book that is changing lives. Really? Life-changing. Kind of sad to me.
