Easter fun

Despite it being a stormy day, we had a very nice Easter. Annabelle helped set a fun, colorful table. I made the traditional peanut butter cookies with peanut M and M's in them. (My Aunt Anna made those for every holiday in Indiana.) We even used some small plates I had purchased in Russia while in college. I won't mention how many years ago that was!

We sat with some friends at church. Annabelle entertained them by pulling their hair, tapping them on the shoulders, etc.

The best news of the day is that the Playstation is broken. No one knows what happened...it just stopped working. I have to say it was an answer to prayer, an Easter miracle. The kids played hide-and-seek all afternoon. It was fun to have them "back".

Hope you day was great! Do you have any fun traditions that you do on Easter?

We have a pitch in lunch (and my Aunt Martha has to bring strawberry pie!) and we have a big Easter Egg hunt in the yard with all the kids. We hide one "golden goose egg" with $5 and everyone wants to get it! Happy Easter
