I don't think it is small-minded to discuss the weather. I enjoy observing the weather. Today we are having freezing rain, after several days of 70 degrees and sunshine. Oh well, I am a Yankee and I SHOULD be used to cold weather.
Cold weather makes me think of my crock pot. I stumbled upon this blog the other day. This gal cooked in her crock pot EVERY day in 2008, and posted the recipes here.

Even though I am late finding this blog, I think it will be fun to see what she made for her family and maybe try some of the recipes. Crock-potting every day...I just can't imagine. She made it on the Rachel Ray show because of her endeavors AND has a cookbook coming in the fall. Hmmm....what could I do every day that could result in fame and fortune? I can't think of a thing. LOL I think I'll make some chili and take it easy.

Yum! This looks so good. I have never used or owned a crockpot but I think I need one, dinner would be so much easier sometimes and I they smell so good, didn't you have one in Indy when we were roommates?

Yumm-O! yes, the weather needs to make up its mind around here. but as long as it is cold and wet, I should check out some crockpot goodness... thanks for the info!
