When my dad was a little boy in Fillmore, IN, his grandpa had a cart which was pulled by goats. It was always my dad's dream to have the same, and to entertain his grandchildren with it.
He took some bicycle tires he had been saving (living green!) welded some pieces together, and made a cart. When we were there in July, he had the boys help harness up the goats to "train" them to pull the cart.
It really seemed the humans were being trained. One goat was very stubborn and kept lying down in the road. FINALLY, both goats cooperated. Here is a picture of the goats and humans getting along very well. I wonder if they'll try again at Thankgsiving?
